Release Notes

Une précédente release de ce film a déjà été publiée au moment de sa sortie. A l'occasion de la ressortie du Godzilla de 2014 en 4K, nous vous proposons une nouvelle version 4K Light du film Godzilla 2 avec, pour la première fois dans nos releases, du Dolby Vision ! La release, tout comme le bluray original, possède la particularité d'avoir à la fois du Dolby Vision et du HDR10+ (pour tout type de matériel). Si votre matériel HDR n'est ni compatible Dolby Vision, ni HDR10+ (ou que votre lecteur ne les prend pas en charge), la release s'affichera alors en HDR "classique", il y a toujours rétrocompatibilité. A noter que le Dolby Vision en mkv est très peu pris en charge par les différents lecteurs/matériels à l'heure où nous écrivons ces lignes (c'est le début). Le Dolby Vision fonctionne quoi qu'il en soit avec le lecteur Plex sur la Shield Pro 2019, nous l'avons testé. Pour tout autre matériel, c'est très incertain.

Bien sûr nous en avons profité également pour revoir totalement l'encodage de ce film et pour le mettre aux "normes" de notre qualité actuelle. Résultat : une image avec beaucoup moins d'artefacts, plus détaillée, conservant plus de textures et de netteté.
