'2 home runs and 11 hits' Houston wins 2 straight after losing 2 in a row in ALCS The starting point of the game

Altuve led the way to victory with 3 hits and 3 points,
and Abreu scored 3 points in the 4th inning.

The Major League Baseball (MLB) Houston Astros took the game back to square one in the American League Championship Series (ALCS, best-of-seven) by winning two games in a row after two consecutive losses.

Houston defeated the Texas Rangers 10-3 in Game 4 of the 2023 MLB ALCS held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, USA on the 20th (Korean time).

Houston, which was in crisis after losing the first and second games at home on the 16th and 17th, showed off its power as a 'defending champion' by winning the third and fourth games held in enemy territory.

Texas, which had a 7-game winning streak in the postseason, including the Wild Card Game (best of 3), the American League Division Series (ALDS, best of 5), and the 1st and 2nd games of the ALCS, lost its momentum after suffering consecutive losses.

Game 5 of the ALCS will be held at the same location on the 21st, and Games 6 and 7 will be held on the 23rd and 24th at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, Houston's home stadium.

The Houston batting lineup tormented the Texas mound with 11 hits, including two home runs.

Jose Altuve, who had been silent with no hits in Games 1 and 2 of the ALCS, hit hard with 3 hits and 3 runs in 4 at-bats. Jose Abreu hit a three-run shot in the fourth inning, and Jordan Alvarez also had three RBIs.

Houston starter Jose Urquidi left the mound early after allowing 3 runs in 2⅓ innings, but Hunter Brown, who started as the third pitcher, pitched 3 scoreless innings and added strength to the victory.

Houston gained momentum by scoring 3 points in the first inning.

In the top of the first inning, with no outs on first and third base, Alec Bregman hit a timely triple with two RBIs. Alvarez, the follow-up hitter, hit a heavy hit and called Bregman home.

Texas made up 2 runs in the bottom of the second inning with Adolis Garcia's solo home run and Josh Chung's sacrifice fly, and tied the score with Corey Seager's solo home run in the third inning.

However, Houston took the lead again by scoring 4 points in the 4th inning.

In the top of the 4th inning, consecutive walks by Martin Maldonado and Altuve and a hit by Mauricio Dubon resulted in the bases being loaded with one out, and Alvarez hit a sacrifice fly.

With 2 outs and runners on 1st and 3rd, Abreu hit a 3-run shot over the left-center wall.

Houston ran away with a two-run home run by Chas McCormick in the top of the 7th inning with 1 out and runners on first base to make it 9-3, and Alvarez's timely hit to right in the 8th added 1 run to tie the game.

Texas also had eight hits, including two home runs, but suffered the bitter loss as they failed to attack Houston's bullpen in the second half of the game.
