'100% passing success rate' Lee Kang-in named Ligue 1 11R Best 11 for 2nd week in a row

French Ligue 1 international midfielder Lee Kang-in, 22, of Paris Saint-Germain, has been named to the Ligue 1 Best 11 for Round 11. This is the second consecutive week that the midfielder has been named to the list, following the previous 10 rounds.

The Ligue 1 secretariat announced the Best 11 of the 11th round of the 2023-24 Ligue 1 on social media on Sept. 9 (KST), and Lee was named to the list.

Lee played as a left-back in a 4-3-3 formation, forming a trio with teammates Kylian Mbappe (PSG) and Mohamed Bayo (Le Havre).

Lee opened the scoring against Montpellier in the 11th round on Oct. 4, when Mbappe deftly flicked on a cross from Ashraf Hakimi in the 10th minute, and Lee headed the ball into the corner of the Montpellier goal.

It was Lee's fifth goal in five games in Ligue 1 and his third consecutive offensive point, following his debut goal for PSG in the third leg of the UEFA Champions League (UCL) group stage against AC Milan (Italy) last month, and his first Ligue 1 assist against Brest on March 29.

In addition to his goal, Lee played 62 minutes in midfield, completing 100% of his passes and proving himself worthy of a place in the Ligue 1 Best 11.

This isn't the first time Lee has made the Ligue 1 Best 11. In the last 10 rounds, he was also named in the Best 11 alongside Mbappe. On that occasion, Lee scored his first offensive point against Brest.

Lee will look to make it three consecutive weeks in the Best 11 and three consecutive Ligue 1 games with an attacking point against Stade Reims on Wednesday. casinositezone
