Ji-hwan Yoon is the youngest Korean male swimmer competing at the Doha World Championships.

He set a personal best record of 24.96 seconds at the 2024 Swimming (Swimming) National Team Selection Competition held in November last year, beating his seniors and taking first place.

He comfortably passed the International Aquatics Federation's men's 50m backstroke A record of 25.16 seconds and qualified for the World Championships.

Ji-Hwan Yoon also performed well on the main stage and succeeded in passing the preliminary round, which was his first goal.
